This book tells the history of Forest Hills Cemetery and many of the interesting citizens buried there from its founding in the 1880’s to the present. The book includes the stories of well-known Chattanooga residents including Joe Engle, Grace Moore, and C. B. Robinson, as well as those whose stories are equally interesting but less known, like community leaders, Ellen Jarnigan McCallie and Sally Crenshaw, business owners’ Zerelda Webster and Mayme Martin, and baseball players Jackie Mitchell and Dave Gaston.

Comprised of over 200 vintage postcards from 1900 through the 1950’s, the book relates the story of Canton, Ohio, home of President William McKinley as well as the National Football Hall of Fame.
